A Little About Mohana's Background
Dr. Mohanalakshmi is an inspiring educator and entrepreneur focused on empowering youth in technology and entrepreneurship. In 2014, she founded Kidspreneur, an academy offering experiential learning programs for children and youth aged 5 to 18, fostering entrepreneurial thinkers to shape future leaders. Her journey began early with a branding company in Singapore and collaboration with the Ministry of Education on the Kidspreneur curriculum, which now operates in over 27 countries.
In 2022, she launched American World School in Chennai, India's first entrepreneurial school, blending robust entrepreneurial education with an American curriculum to inspire innovation and resilience. Dr. Mohanalakshmi holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Harvard, a B.B.A. from Madras University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Sunderland. She also serves as an Associate Executive Director for the American International Accreditation Association of Schools and Colleges (AIAASC) AIAASC -WASC Joint accreditation.
She also founded KIDx Asia, a platform for kids aged 7 to 18 to present their business ideas, connecting them with investors and mentors. To date, over 100 young entrepreneurs have been empowered, securing a total investment of $450,000.
